This is a remarkably solid, spacious, accurate and stable scale, with a minimum displayed weight of about 50 grams (its minimum resolution in metric mode). A point in its favor is the fact that it can be calibrated if necessary, though I found it to be acceptably accurate out of the box. It's based on a load cell feeding a COB ASIC beneath the nice, readable display in the control box. One thing to watch for: Its power supply is opposite in polarity to most, and has the sleeve positive and the tip negative. If, as is likely, it lacks reverse polarity protection (I didn't check when I opened the control case), it may fail if you plug in another and more typical power supply.
