I checked out at least 10 different scales before deciding on this one and I am very happy that I chose to buy this one. Not only does it weigh up to 55lbs but the price is much lower than many scales that only weigh 10 - 50lbs. Also, it came fully calibrated out of the box. I put on my 100G calibration weight (3.52739oz) and the weight came up 3.6oz, which is exactly what you want. It only shows one decimal place on the screen so you want it to round up. It's small and compact and the buttons are easy to see and use. As long as it keeps working, I'll be very satisfied.
